2435 South 500 East
The Council approved a request to rezone the property at 2435 South 500 East. The property was zoned for single-family homes (R-1-7000, Residential). The property owner requested a zoning district that allows moderate density housing (RMF-35, Moderate Density Multifamily Residential).
A vacant boarded house currently exists on the property. The property owner states they intend to demolish the vacant home and construct townhomes.
The property owner also requested an amendment to the Sugar House Master Plan from the future land use designation of “Low-Density Residential” to “Medium Density Residential.”
