2018 Subdivision/Street Improvements and Excavation Restrictions

In accordance with Salt Lake City Ordinance 14.32.085 (Excavation Restrictions), this publication identifies the public way projects scheduled for construction in Calendar Year 2018, including the nature of the work and excavation restrictions, and the effective date and duration of excavation restrictions.  All potential users to whom the excavation restriction applies shall submit application to the City Engineer to participate in the stated projects to address co-locating facilities or other actions as needed in the best interest of the City.  A GIS map showing the 2018 construction projection and previously established excavation restrictions can be viewed on the City’s website at: https://maps.slcgov.com/mws/excavationrestriction.htm.

SUBDIVISION STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS / 2018 STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Project: Nineline Subdivision (915 South from Navajo Street to 1275 West)

Type of Work: Installation of new street with asphalt pavement.

Public Way Restriction Area: All public way roadway excavations on the new subdivision street.

Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.

Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.

Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from completion date of project.

Project: Cannon Oaks Court (short extension of Cannon Oaks Street at 1500 South)

Type of Work: Installation of new street with asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

Public Way Restriction Area: All public way roadway excavations on the new subdivision street.

Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.

Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.

Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from completion date of project.

Project: Victory Road Twin Homes (new street to intersect West Capitol Street at 640 North)

Type of Work: Installation of new street with asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

Public Way Restriction Area: All public way roadway excavations on the new subdivision street.

Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.

Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.

Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from completion date of project.

Project: Station Center (reconstruction of 300 South from 500 West to 600 West)

Type of Work: Installation of new street with asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

Public Way Restriction Area: All public way roadway excavations on the new subdivision street.

Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.

Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.

Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from completion date of project.
