This City ordinance is now in effect. Please read it carefully or contact our permit officers if you have any questions.

To obtain approval for a Permit to Work in the Public Way and perform directional boring, a copy of the door hanger (or flyer) of what will be delivered to each property owner along the proposed bore route must accompany the permit application.  The intent of the door hanger (or flyer) is to give each property owner notification that a bore will be occurring within the next two weeks.
