Event Details
Join Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall along with many other Salt Lake City employees as we bike to work! Each event starts at 7:30 AM and will end at the City and County Building. Each ride will begin just after 8:00 AM. We will have coffee and breakfast refreshments on hand to fuel the ride!
No bike? No problem! GREENbike has locations all over the city where you can rent a bike.
You can also join us by biking to your place of work on the same day. Take a photo on your route and use the hashtag #SLCBikeThere.

Do I need to bring my own bike?
Yes, you will need to bring your own bike in order to participate. No bike? No problem! GREENbike has locations all over the city where you can rent a bike for the day. Visit their website for more information.
Can I participate if I don’t work in the city?
Yes! Mayor’s Bike to Work Day is open to everyone, regardless of where you work. We encourage everyone to join us in biking to work on this day.
How can I join if I can’t make it to the official event?
You can still participate by biking to your place of work on the same day. Take a photo on your route and use the hashtag #SLCBikeThere to share your experience with others.
Do I have to register and is there a fee to participate?
There is no need to register in advance and participation in Mayor’s Bike to Work Day is free for everyone.
