Salt Lake City Food Microgrant Program

The SLC Food Microgrant Program provides funding for households and community groups working to increase access to fresh, healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food in Salt Lake City.   

The application period has closed for 2026.

Applications for the Home Food Production Microgrant will open in early 2027. Due to budget constraints, the Community Food Microgrant will not be available in 2027.

There are two categories of funding:

Home Food Production Microgrant

This grant provides $250 for Salt Lake City residents to grow their own food. Click here to learn more.

This grant provides up to $5000 to organizations working to improve access to fresh, healthy, affordable and culturally relevant food. Click here to learn more.
