Thursday, May 22nd at 7:30 AM at Bend in the River (Jordan River Trail at Fremont Ave)
Join Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Salt Lake City employees for a bike-to-work ride! Start the morning with coffee and refreshments at 7:30 AM, followed by kickoff speeches at 8:00 AM, before we roll out to the City & County Building at 8:10 AM.
No bike? No problem! Rent one from GREENbike.

Calling all creative, bike loving Salt Lakers! Design a sticker for the next Mayor’s Bike to Work Day at Bend in the River Park on May 22, 2025.
This competition is for our Spring ride. Use pastel colors and don’t forget a bike element! Bonus points for including features of Bend in the River Park.
Submissions will be viewed and voted on by a panel of City employees. The winner will be chosen by May 8th. The winning design artist will receive a Salt Lake City swag prize and printed copies of your sticker!

Do I need to bring my own bike?
Yes, you will need to bring your own bike in order to participate. No bike? No problem! GREENbike has locations all over the city where you can rent a bike for the day.
Can I participate if I don't work in the City?
Yes! Mayor’s Bike to Work Day is open to everyone, regardless of where you work. We encourage everyone to join us in biking to work on this day.
How can I join if I can't make it to the official event?
You can still participate by biking to your place of work on the same day. Take a photo on your route and use the hashtag #SLCBikeThere to share your experience with others.
Do I have to register and is there a fee to participate?
There is no need to register in advance. Participation in Mayor’s Bike to Work Day is free for everyone.
