Program Overview

YouthCity Internships support youth through structured career exploration, skill development, and supervised work experiences. The program builds on existing YouthCity teen programming and integrates mentorship, accountability, and whole-youth support.

Tier 1 Internship: Workforce Foundations

Focus: Exploration and foundational skill development

This tier is unpaid and designed to spark interest, build confidence, and prepare youth for higher levels of responsibility.

Tier 2 Internship: Pre-Internship

Focus: Applied learning with structured responsibility

This tier is unpaid and supports youth who are ready for more responsibility but may not yet be prepared for a fully hourly position.

Tier 3 Internship: Advanced Internship

Focus: Career readiness and paid employment pathway

This tier is paid and prioritizes high school students who demonstrate readiness for formal workforce expectations. REQUIRES INTERVIEW.
