At their February 7, 2023 meetings, the Council:

• Adopted a joint ceremonial resolution with Mayor Mendenhall recognizing February as Black History Month in Salt Lake City
• Held a follow-up discussion on proposed revisions to the City’s Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADUs, ordinance
• Heard from the City’s ADA Coordinator and some members of the Accessibility and Disability Commission about a proposed ordinance requiring televisions in public areas to activate closed captioning
