Rezone & Master Plan Amendment

Rose Park Lane

The Council approved a request from the Department of Public Lands to amend the Rose Park Small Area Plan and the Zoning Map at Rose Park Lane. The four parcels at Rose Park Lane were zoned to allow single-family housing (R-1/7000, Single Family Residential zoning district). The Department of Public Lands is requested an Open Space (OS) zone for the property. The property will potentially be incorporated into the Regional Athletic Complex to the north, which is managed and operated by Public Lands.

The rezone includes four parcels of land:

  • 1902 N Rose Park Lane
  • 1932 N Rose Park Lane
  • 1944 N Rose Park Lane
  • 1954 N Rose Park Lane

Each parcel is vacant besides 1932 N Rose Park Lane, which currently has an empty single-family house. The property owner states they intend to demolish the vacant building and join the four parcels together into one.
