Crime Safety

The safety of all residents is of utmost importance. The Salt Lake Police Department regularly publishes its Compstat data. In the latest update, the data showed a noteworthy decrease in crime in District 6 and the City. As of Nov. 19, overall crime in our District is down approximately 25 percent from the previous year. This positive trend has continued, decreasing crime levels in District Six over the past few years, thanks to our collective efforts. Our District is consistently the Council District with the lowest crime level.
