Quick tips when riding in Salt Lake City
- Wear a helmet
- Use signals when stopping, merging or turning
- Obey traffic laws
- Wear reflective clothing at night, bright colors during the day
- Be alert, watch for vehicles
- Never ride against traffic
- No riding on the sidewalks in the downtown Central Business District
- Don’t assume sidewalks are safer than the bike lane
