In 2025, Salt Lake City will reconstruct 100 South between University Street and North Campus Drive near The University of Utah to refresh the roadway, evaluate options for bicycle facilities, and improve multi-modal safety and comfort.

Street Reconstruction Projects
Each year, Salt Lake City reconstructs numerous streets, made possible by the 2018 voter-approved Funding Our Future street reconstruction bond.
600/700 North Reconstruction (800 West to Redwood Road)
Salt Lake City will rebuild 600/700 North from 800 West to Redwood Road starting in 2025. The street is being redesigned to improve safety, provide more comfortable facilities for people walking, biking, and using transit, and to create a more welcoming corridor.
300 North Reconstruction (300 West to 1000 West)
Starting 2024, 300 North will be reconstructed from 300 West to 1000 West. Pavement, sidewalk, ADA ramps, bike lanes, and curb and gutter will be improved to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone using the road.
2100 South Reconstruction (700 East to 1300 East)
Starting 2024, Salt Lake City will reconstruct 2100 South from 700 East to 1300 East to replace the aging pavement and improve transit, pedestrian, and bicycle facilities.
1300 East Reconstruction (2100 South to 3300 South)
Salt Lake City will reconstruct 1300 East between 2100 South and 3300 South in 2025 to rehabilitate the aged pavement and make the road safer for all users.
1100 East Reconstruction: 900 South to Logan Ave (1600 South)
This project reconstructed pavement, sidewalks, and gutters; and provide safety improvements, traffic calming features, and bicycle lanes along 1100 East.

Alleyway Pilot Program
In 2021, work began on on the first alleyway in Salt Lake City that will be rejuvenated through the City’s Alleyway Pilot Program. Construction on the 850-foot alley in the Liberty Wells neighborhood will increase functionality for the adjoining residents as well as the communities the alley connects.
