Parks
- Maintained hundreds of newly planted trees across the city.
- Planted nearly 10,000 bulbs, more than 5,500 geraniums, and over 4,000 plants in the Central 9th district.

Trails and Natural Lands
- Drafted a Foothills Natural Area co-management agreement with multiple agencies to improve access and stewardship.
- Completed Jordan River vegetation work to remove invasive species, reduce fire risk, and improve safety and accessibility.

Urban Forestry
- Planted almost 2,000 trees citywide.
- Led large volunteer plantings, including more than 120 trees planted at Jordan Park during Earth Week.

Golf
- Installed two public golf simulators at Forest Dale Golf Course, expanding recreation options and generating revenue.
- Began the redesign of the Rose Park Golf Course driving range and added a new practice green area.

Cemetery
- Began improvements to irrigation efficiency and tree-specific watering systems.
- Initiated roadway upgrades to improve access and maintenance.
- Innovated gopher control method by hanging kestrel boxes.

Regional Athletic Complex
- Explored public-private partnerships to expand the complex’s 30 undeveloped acres.
- Developed three conceptual plans featuring multi-sport fields, pickleball courts, open space, parking, and infrastructure.
- All concepts emphasize year-round use and public access.

Events
- Increased events in underused parks to boost park activation.
- Used events as engagement tools to gather feedback on park improvements.
- Integrated volunteers into major events, expanding capacity and community ownership.

Volunteer and Stewardship
- Began developing self-directed volunteer opportunities to expand participation.
- Piloted a Foothills Stewardship Program using trained volunteers to increase program capacity.
- Created multiple volunteer pathways (public, hybrid, private, and independent) to maximize participation and impact.

Park Rangers
- Collected public safety and engagement data through patrol notes and surveys to guide planning decisions.
- Participated in North Temple/Jordan River safety and activation planning discussions with partners.
- Expanded programming into library grounds and semi-public spaces through recurring educational events.
- Supported volunteer events to strengthen partnerships and community relationships.
