Fisher Carriage House
This project will revitalize the Fisher Carriage House along the Jordan River. This space will be used for activities, education, and for visitors and City staff.
Status
Construction Ongoing– 75% complete
Full Project Scope
The completed Carriage House will have office space for our Public Lands volunteer and outreach staff as well as our newly implemented Jordan River Park Rangers. The downstairs space of the Carriage House will serve as a small community gathering space that will be available to book. There is also potential to house a small exhibit space available to people recreating along the Jordan River. Landscaping will further transform this site into a welcoming place that is ideal for outdoor events.
Background
The Carriage House is located directly north of the Fisher Mansion. Seismic upgrades and stabilization work on the Carriage House was completed in 2014, and full funding for the reconstruction of the Carriage House was funded in 2019. This project is connected to broader efforts on the Fisher Mansion site, learn more here.
