Project Summary
Salt Lake City Parks Division is constructing a sidewalk from Memory Grove Park to the Austin Stairs. Currently the area is woodchipped and when we receive moisture of any sort the area becomes a safety issue so we are addressing it. This project will add a sidewalk and some stairs to make a connection between the park and the Austin stairs to go up to A Street. Once finished in January, access will be safer for those that use the off leash dog area and make a nice connection to the sidewalks going up to A Street. This area will be temporarily closed for the duration of the project so the contractors will be able to do their work without interruption.
Timeline
Construction will take place between November 30, 2020 and January 15, 2021.
