Volunteer Opportunities

Everyone can be a part of Salt Lake City’s sustainability work. Recycling and composting correctly, protecting our air quality by reducing idling and single occupancy car rides, and keeping your home as energy efficient as possible are among the many ways you can help protect the environment.

If you’re looking to do even more, you may consider volunteering your time for an organization working to protect the environment!

Volunteer with Salt Lake City Public Lands

Salt Lake City’s Public Lands Department offers numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Here are a few local organizations to check out!

Please contact these organizations directly to see if they have volunteer opportunities.
