TrailSurvey

Between 2016 and 2020, Salt Lake City worked with residents and stakeholders to develop a Foothill Trails Master Plan. Environmental and physical sustainability, accessibility, safety and enjoyable trail experiences are the guiding objectives of the Master Plan, which was adopted by Salt Lake City Council in March, 2020.

Between August 2020 and May 2021, many of the new trails included in “Phase I” of the Foothill Trails Master Plan recommendations have been constructed in the Central Foothills above ‘The Avenues’ in SLC.  As changes to the trail system are implemented, it is critically important that Salt Lake City hear from trail users about how these changes are impacting them. This information will help the City understand if recent trail work is meeting the objectives of the Foothill Trails Master Plan.

If you have used any of the new trails, we want to hear from you! The survey at the link below will take 5-10 minutes, depending on how much information you choose to provide. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and helping us improve trail system management in the Foothills Natural Area.
