How to Remove a Non-Compliance

Certificate of Correction and Compliance Process:

Final Documentation:
Expect a 2–3 week processing time. The recorded certificate will then be added to the associated permit.

Schedule Inspection:
Email a copy of the Non-Compliance notice to buildinginspections@slc.gov to confirm that all corrections have been completed. You will also want to schedule an inspection on the permit in question.

Inspection and Confirmation:
After the inspection, if all issues are resolved, the inspector will notify the administrative staff.

Certificate Preparation:
The admin staff will prepare a Certificate of Correction and Compliance for the inspector to sign.

Notarization and Recording:
Once signed and notarized, the certificate will be submitted to the County Recorder’s office.
