Salt Lake City Public Utilities is proposing updates to the City’s water, sewer and stormwater impact fees. These one-time fees help pay for infrastructure needed to serve new development and are based on the principle that growth should help pay for growth.
The City’s Public Utilities impact fees have remained largely unchanged since 1999. Since then, Salt Lake City has grown, construction costs have increased and infrastructure needs have changed significantly.
