My name is Alejandro Puy E., but most people call me “Ale.” As a proud immigrant from Argentina, the Westside has always felt like home. As your District 2 Council Member, my focus is to listen to you. I want to see my neighbors and our community thrive. I hope to shine a light on how to make the Westside the best it can be. Skip the Trip to City Hall! The Council will host its Sept. 22 meeting at the Utah State Fairpark, Deseret Building on the Westside. Please note that a Zoom option will not be available for this meeting.
Northwest Community Plan Update
The Council is reviewing updates to the Northwest Community Plan. The draft plan sets a 15-year vision for the area’s future and connects local growth to Plan Salt Lake.
FY2026-27 City Budget
On Tuesday, June 16, 2026 the Salt Lake City Council adopted the City’s $2.1 billion Fiscal Year 2026-27 (FY27) budget, approving a spending plan focused on public safety, essential services, neighborhood infrastructure and thoughtful financial stewardship.
