Commute with Public Transit

Salt Lake City is a fantastic city with lots of things to see. It is important that we, as residents, use forms of transportation other than just driving to get around. Not only do many people not own cars, it is a safer way to travel, can save money, and is better for the environment. Here are some of the public transportation options in SLC.

TRAX
TRAX is a great way to get around, with stops going through all of SLC. There are trains every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday, and you can buy a day pass for just $5.

UTA Buses
Like TRAX, UTA buses help connect the city with stops almost everywhere. They are a great way to move around and very simple to use.

GreenBike
Just like electric scooters, these are very simple to use. You can grab a bike from any station downtown and return it to any station, taking as many 60-minute rides as possible.

Electric Scooters
These are fun ways to sightsee or get to your final destination. They are very easy to set up and are zero-emission.

These are just some ways to get around the city without using cars. There are also options such as walking, running, and biking, which are incredibly good for you and the environment. If you must use a car, consider carpooling with others to reduce emissions. As always, feel free to reach out if you have any additional comments or questions.
