Landscaping Equipment Exchange
APPLICATIONS OPEN SOON FOR FALL 2025!
Gas-powered landscaping equipment creates a lot of pollution! That’s why Salt Lake City offers incentives for residents to switch to battery powered landscaping equipment instead.
Applications open soon and will close on November 4, 2025.

Advantages of Battery-Operated Equipment
- More enjoyable to use: Electric equipment is lighter, quieter, and easier to start than gas equipment.
- Lower maintenance: There are fewer moving parts to maintain in electric equipment, and you won’t have to deal with oil changes or storing gasoline!
- Cost-effective: With lower maintenance and repair costs, you’ll save money on your equipment over time.
Please read through the program rules below before applying.
