On Oct. 18, 2022, the Council voted to adopt a resolution to authorize the lease of a City-owned parcel to The Other Side Academy for a 40-year term at a rate of $1 per year. Subsequently, the Council approved a request to rezone the land from Public Lands (PL) to a form-based zoning district (FB-UN2) to allow for the construction of a “tiny home village.”
