Salt Lake City Invites Community to Westside Council Meeting

The Council’s annual off-site meeting makes it easier for residents to participate in local government. 

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 16, 2024 – The Salt Lake City Council invites all constituents to participate in a City Council meeting hosted on the Westside. These offsite meetings aim to help make it easier for Westside residents to engage with their city leaders without a trip to City Hall. Dinner and entertainment will be provided as a token of appreciation to attendees. 

WHO: The Salt Lake City Council and City staff, residents, stakeholders, and community partners. 

WHAT: An off-site City Council meeting hosted on the Westside of the City and open to all residents. Dinner and entertainment will be provided to participants, as well as Spanish and ASL interpreters.  

WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. 

WHERE: Sorenson Unity Center (1383 S 900 W). The event will be live streamed on YouTube and SLCTV.
