St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Siamsa

On Saturday, March 11, Council Member Alejandro Puy and other Salt Lake City Council Members attended the 46th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Siamsa organized by the Hibernian Society of Utah. The event took place at The Gateway and aimed to celebrate Irish culture and tradition. The festivities began with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which ran along 200 S and concluded at the Rio Grande. Immediately following the parade was the Siamsa, a Celtic celebration featuring traditional Irish food with some modern twists. 

Other highlights included:

  • Merchandise.
  • Live performances by local Irish dance schools and musicians.
  • An after-party at Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club.

The event was a highly anticipated kick-off to the event season at The Gateway. Check out photos of the event below!
