Water Conservation

Water is an essential resource for all of us. It’s important to make sure that everyone is conserving as much water as possible. Not only does it save you money, but it keeps our environment healthy by reducing the amount of water diverted from our rivers. Conserving water when there is no drought will make it so water shortages won’t affect us as much. Here are some quick tips on how you can start saving more water:

  • Turn the water off when brushing your teeth or shaving
  • Always try to find another purpose for water before pouring it down the drain
  • Use the dishwasher only when it is full
  • Water your lawn during the coolest part of the day
  • Put a cover on your pool when it is not in use

These are just some of the many ways to save water throughout the year.
