Overview

May is National Bike Month—a time to celebrate the benefits of biking and encourage more people to give it a try.

In 2025, Salt Lake City is joining the celebration with Mayor Mendenhall’s Bike to Work Day on May 22.

Whether you’re biking to work, around the block, or on a scenic trail, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Mayor Mendenhall’s Bike to Work Day

Join Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Salt Lake City employees for a bike-to-work ride! Start the morning with coffee and refreshments at 7:30 AM, followed by kickoff speeches at 8:00 AM before we roll out to the City & County Building.

Bike Club & Sweet Streets Pints for a Purpose

Join a special edition of Bike Club with Sweet Streets—a casual, no-drop ride through Salt Lake City ending at RoHa Brewing for Pints for a Purpose, where proceeds support Sweet Streets. Ride or not, all are welcome to join the celebration at RoHa!

Sweet Streets Bike/Walk SLC
