Salt Lake City Public Art Program 500 North/Fairpark

The Salt Lake City Arts Council is pleased to announce an opportunity for Utah artists or artist-led teams to submit qualifications for the 500 North/Fairpark Traffic Calming Measures public art opportunity. The Salt Lake Art Design Board strives to commission an artwork that reflects the history, identity, diversity, and spirit of the Fairpark neighborhood by resonating with the local community and fostering a sense of inclusion & belonging. The primary site for an artwork installation is the traffic circle situated at 500 North 1300 West. In addition to the traffic circle, artists will be invited to consider proposing artwork for the three traffic splitter islands located at 500 North 1200 West.
