Stadler Rail opened a US manufacturing site in D2 back in 2019, and just last week, Stadler opened a brand-new cafeteria building for its employees. Stadler has spurred lots of economic growth for D2 as well as created many job opportunities and an apprenticeship program with tuition assistance for students. Council Member Puy has been a supporter of Stadler and all of the benefits they have brought D2, so he was invited to cut the ribbon and give a few remarks at their cafeteria grand opening. This cafeteria will serve as a meeting place in an area that was previously lacking food and gathering establishments.
