700 West: 1600 South to 2100 South

700 West between 1600 South and 2100 South was reconstructed in 2020 to increase the lifespan of the roadway along this busy industrial district west of I-15. The project includes new asphalt pavement, drive approaches, and curb and gutter to improve drainage along the corridor. New sidewalks and pedestrian access ramps were also added to increase pedestrian comfort and safety.

2000 East: Parley’s Canyon Boulevard to City Limits (2930 South)

In 2020, we reconstructed 2000 East from Parleys Canyon Boulevard to the city limit with Millcreek. The pavement surface, sidewalks, curb, and gutter were upgraded, and a new street design to improve travel conditions for people walking and biking was also implemented.

2700 South: Highland Drive to Preston Street (1930 East)

We finished reconstructing this segment of 2700 South in January 2020. As part of the project, crews repaired curb and gutter, sidewalks and access ramps as needed. They also upgraded an aging sewer line, installed bike lanes in both directions and upgraded pedestrian crossings.

900 South: Lincoln Street to 1300 East

2500 East: Foothill Drive to 2100 South

This project replaced the aging asphalt pavement with concrete to extend the lifespan of the street and to improve drainage and enhance the travel experience. Other project features include new paint for existing markings, upgrades to access ramps, and repairs to curb and gutter, drive approaches, and sidewalks as needed.

Post Street & 1000 West: 700 South to 800 South

In 2019, we combined the reconstruction of Post Street and 1000 West, between 700 South and 800 South, into one project as shown on the map below. This approach helped us expedite construction schedule, maximize resources, and minimize inconveniences to residents. Project features include new pavement, upgrades to access ramps, and repairs to curb and gutter, sidewalks, and drive approaches as needed.

700 South: 5600 West to 5000 West

In 2020 we reconstructed this segment of 700 South in this industrial district on the west side of the city to prolong the lifespan of the roadway, improve access and drainage, and to enhance mobility and travel experience. Project features included new concrete pavement, a new storm drain system, new curb and gutter, drive approaches, and sidewalks.

1500 South: Redwood Road to 2700 West

This project reconstructed 1500 South to prolong the lifespan of the street and to improve mobility and drainage, which has enhanced the travel experience within this industrial corridor. Project features include a new pavement surface, new or improved access ramps, upgrades to the aging sewer system, repairs to curb and gutter, and new sidewalks as needed.

1700 South: 1700 East to 1900 East

This street reconstruction project replaced the deteriorating asphalt with concrete pavement to increase roadway longevity and safety for travelers. Other project features include upgrades to access ramps and sidewalks to enhance the travel experience for people walking and taking transit. A new storm drain system with new curbs and gutters was also added to improve drainage in the area.

700 South: 5550 West to 5600 West
