About the Park

Herman Franks Park is named after Utah baseball legend Herman Franks. Over his five decade career in professional baseball, Franks was a player, scout, coach, manager, owner of the Bees, and financial adviser to his peers. Off of the baseball diamond, Franks was also a successful businessman and an important member of the community.

The baseball diamonds, dog park, and playground make the park a destination in the Liberty Wells neighborhood.
