Administrative Hearings

Administrative Hearings are held remotely via Zoom, as needed, on the fourth Thursday of the month. These meetings are conducted virtually with no anchor location at the City & County Building. 


Meeting Participation

Administrative Hearing Officer, Staff, and Applicants connect remotely via Zoom. If you wish to participate during the public hearing, you can join using the Zoom link provided on the meeting agenda.

Written comments regarding an item on the agenda may be emailed to the staff contact listed for that specific item.


About Administrative Hearings

An Administrative Hearing Officer (Planning Director or their appointee) has review authority for Conditional Use applications categorized as low impact under the Zoning Ordinance. While these applications can be approved administratively, they may also be forwarded to the Planning Commission at the discretion of the acting Zoning Administrator. Ordinance – 21A.54.155.E

An administrative decision may be appealed to the Appeals Hearing Officer. Appeals must be filed within 10 days of the decision.
