Salt Lake City has received a Conditional Use request from West Coast Towing, represented by Heather Leyvay, to allow a licensed impound lot on the property located at approximately 1050 South 500 West. The subject property is located within the CC Corridor Commercial District. Section 21A.33.030 of the zoning ordinance requires that impound lots be reviewed as a conditional use. The request would allow an undeveloped lot that is approximately .32 acres (13,939 Square feet) be used for storing vehicles that have been impounded. The property is currently fenced. If the conditional use is approved, they will be required to meet all City Department requirements.
