SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall will report on the financial condition of the City, the status of various major projects, and speak to residents about her vision and goals for Salt Lake City in her first State of the City Address on Monday, March 2.
Her first State of the City speech at the newly constructed Meadowlark Elementary School will feature community performances and light refreshments.
“I’ve listened to many State of the City addresses over the years and I’m eager to share all that my office, the City Council, and all City employees have been working hard to achieve,” Mayor Mendenhall said.
Her speech will be open to the public and streamed live on SLCTV Channel 17 and Facebook Live at facebook.com/slcmayor.
About the venue: Meadowlark Elementary started the new year in a brand new building. Located in the Jordan Meadows Neighborhood, it is home to a diverse student body, with more than 23 languages spoken.
