H-Rock Restoration
- Due to activity on and around the H-Rock, significant erosion and damage has occurred which poses environmental and human safety risks.
- Access to the H-Rock is restricted until restoration is complete.
- Please stay on the designated signed trail when visiting this area.
Visible from the southern portion of Salt Lake City, H-Rock open space is highly visible due to the H painted on the rock. The open space surrounding the rock is comprised of natural lands that provide habitat for wildlife and scenic views for citizens. Erosion due to heavy usage is occurring at the site, please stay on trails to help vegetation grow back.
The area can be accessed either by Devonshire Drive or Lakeline Drive and access to Jack’s Mountain is possible through the H-Rock Natural Area.
