The Salt Lake Garfield and Western Railway Company has initiated a petition to amend the zoning ordinance related to maximum height within the M-1 Light Manufacturing District. The proposed amendment would allow structures up to 150’ in height to be built on properties west of the airport and no more than 1000’ south of I-80.

- Notice of this application has been sent to the Chair of the Poplar Grove Community Council, where the affected properties are located, who may choose to schedule the matter at an upcoming meeting. Please contact the chair of the organization to determine whether a community council will review this petition and when and how that meeting will occur. - During and following this comment period, the Planning Division will consider all public comments received and make appropriate modifications to the text amendment to better meet the needs of the city.
