Project Overview
The sewer in Emery Street between 600 South and 700 South is 103 years old and in need of repair. The section in Emery Street between Indiana Avenue and 700 South is 35 years old but is too small to serve the community’s needs.
Construction is scheduled to begin August 12. Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) is planning to repair a section of sewer pipeline in Emery Street between 600 South and 700 South and replace the sewer pipeline from 700 South to Indiana Avenue with a new larger pipe.
