Alzheimer’s Wildlife Grove was dedicated to those who have been affected by Alzheimer’s. This secluded area was meant to help serve as a respite for many caregivers whose lives are stressed by the disease. The park’s location along the Jordan River Parkway includes it in a network of parks on Salt Lake City’s west side. As a secluded spot, Alzheimer’s Wildlife Grove is ideal for providing an aesthetic backdrop to many forms of passive recreation, including Trails & Natural Lands’ Out of School into Nature program with Franklin Elementary.
