Salt Lake City Parks & Public Lands has 32 multi-use fields, 25 baseball/softball fields and six sand volleyball courts available for organizations to reserve for games, practices and tournaments. Dates and times for reserving athletic fields for the 2018 season are as follows:

2018 Spring/Summer Reservations (April-July)

Today-Nov. 30, 2017: Historical use organizations turn in 2018 spring & summer field/concessions applications for the fields they have historically used. Click here for historical use document. If you don’t know exactly what days and times you will need yet, please request the traditional dates you have used in the past and as we get closer to the beginning of the 2018 spring/summer season we will adjust those dates and times. Please fill out the online 2018 field application here and/or a concession use application here.

January 24, 2018: Available fields will be posted on-line and emailed to organizations that have supplied their contact email addresses.

January 29, 2018: Non-historical use organizations turn in spring & summer field/concessions applications for available fields between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm online by using the links above, by fax 801-972-7847, in person here or by email to kathy.rollman@slcgov.com. It won’t make a difference if you turn in your application in the morning or afternoon. Each organization will want to provide proof of non-profit status and residency with their applications. If you fill out your application online you will want to email the proof of non-profit status and/or residency to Kathy Rollman.

January 30, 2018: A drawing will be held at 2:00 pm here for available fields. Organizations are welcome to attend the drawing if they want to, but it’s not mandatory. The drawing will be held based on priority scheduling which will be:

  1. Non-profit youth organization/70% residents *
  2. Youth organization/70% residents*
  3. Non-profit adult organization/70% residents*
  4. Adult organization/70% residents
  5. Non-profit youth organization (no residency requirement)
  6. Youth organization (no residency requirement)
  7. Non-profit adult organization (no residency requirement)
  8. Adult organization (no residency requirement)
