A public memorial service will honor former Salt Lake City Mayor Ted Wilson on Friday, May 17, at Rice Eccles Stadium Tower on the University of Utah campus. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. Guests are asked to arrive early enough to be seated by 10 a.m. At 10 a.m., the service will commence when Salt Lake City Hall’s bell tower chimes 30 times in honor of the city’s 30th mayor.
Free parking is available in the lot west of the stadium. Guests should enter at the north door of the tower. Those wishing to view the service remotely can do so through Zoom.
