Community Liaison

Liaison for Districts 1 & 5: Rose Park, Westpointe, Jordan Meadows, Fairpark, Ballpark, Liberty Wells, East Liberty Park

Josh was born in Los Angeles and raised in Utah County. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Music. Josh served as a legislative intern for State House Representative Mark Wheatley during the 2018 General Session. He also completed previous internships at a Latino advocacy organization in Washington, D.C. and at the U.S. Consulate General in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has experience in the legal field, having worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm. In addition to English, Josh is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, learning new languages, and playing the cello.
