Housing Stability Community Survey
Hey Salt Lake City Residents, we need your feedback on determining the investment of federal community development funds in our city.
To best determine how this funding should be spent in 2024-2025 to meet those goals, Housing Stability needs your feedback. Please help us with a quick 3-minute survey.
Salt Lake City Housing Stability is committed to inclusiveness and to developing programs that help provide equity across all areas of our City, build neighborhood resilience, and empower those that call Salt Lake City home. It uses federal funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Funding our Future sales tax dollars, City general fund and other sources to meet these goals.
To best determine how this funding should be spent to meet those goals, Housing Stability conducts in person community outreach efforts annually to hear from City residents. The main objective is to hear from those who live in areas of the city where Housing Stability’s programs and grant funding will have the most affect.
In addition to our in person engagement outreach, Housing Stability will conduct a digital survey to collect feedback from the community. Housing Stability will coordinate the survey with other Salt Lake City Departments: Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office, Salt Lake City Council Office, Civic Engagement, the Census Coordinator, and SLC Media Services. Housing Stability will track metrics, demographics, and zip codes of interactions and survey responses to ensure its target audience participates.
The results will be reviewed by Housing Stability and will be provided to the funding advisory board (CDCIP), Mayor Mendenhall and the City Council to help with their recommendations and adoptions for the fiscal year 2024-2025 Federal funding allocations.
