This land of high benches and foothills at the border of Salt Lake and Davis Counties is made possible due to a conservation easement. The preserve provides a buffer between the cities of North Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. It offers a walking trail, wildlife habitat, and spectacular views of the valley. The project for the conservation easement was a partnership between Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, North Salt Lake, and Utah Open Lands.
