A New Park is Coming to Gateway!

The Gateway Triangle project was recently funded through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to plan a new park in the downtown community. Community engagement will be conducted through the Fall of 2022 that will focus on developing a vision of the space in collaboration with downtown community members. Come visit us at the Downtown Farmer’s Market on the dates listed below or complete the survey to share your thoughts.

This park space will be crucial for serving a diversity of communities including nearby Gateway residents, Frontrunner commuters, and recreators along the Folsom Trail. This space is also located near the Union Pacific mainline and the site of the former Grant Tower which served as a critical railroad control point.
