Full Project Scope

The CLR and Master Plan for liberty park has three components: 1. A CLR is the principal document for the management of cultural landscapes and is based on standards established by the NPS. The report documents the history and physical changes of the site, determines historical significance and develops treatment recommendations for historic features and plantings; 2. The Master Plan will establish a vision and actionable plan that builds on the CLR and will provide an orderly framework for consistent planning, development and administration of the park for the next 20 years and; 3. This project will include a study of the adaptive reuse for the Greenhouse including plant production, visitor access, sustainability and potential revenue generation. The study will look at significantly expanding capacity for growth of the City’s rare and native plant propagation program, allowing biodiversity enhancements at more parks and natural areas citywide.
