Mayor Initiated Petition Related to Homeless Shelters and Homeless Resource Centers
Mayor Erin Mendenhall has initiated a zoning amendment to prohibit new, permanent homeless shelters and homeless resource centers in the city and the City is invoking the pending rule doctrine to prohibit the processing of any land use applications for either use for 180 days.
