22-23 Salt Lake City Annual Action Plan Public Comment Period. May 25th to June 25th.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Salt Lake City is accepting public comments on the City’s proposed Annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2022-2023, for recommended projects and activities to be undertaken with federal funds under the following U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs:
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $4,548,653 Award
CDBG funds may be used for the development of viable urban communities by providing decent housing and suitable living environments for persons of low and moderate-income.
Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) $327,139 Award
ESG funds may be used to assist individuals and families regain housing stability after experiencing a housing or homelessness crisis.
HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) $1,171,026 Award
HOME funds may be used to create affordable housing opportunities for low-income households.
Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) $910,126 Award
HOPWA funds may be used to provide housing assistance and related supportive services to persons living With HIV/AIDS and their families.


The plan is available for review and copies may be obtained by appointment in the Housing Stability Division Office, located at the Salt Lake City & County Building – 451 S State Street, Room 445, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. Information about the City’s Annual Action Plan for 2022-2023, and the related Consolidated Plan for 2020-2024 can also be found on Salt Lake City’s Housing Stability website at www.slcgov.com/HAND.

Comments will be accepted for 30 days, from Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, to Saturday June 25th, 2022.

The final Annual Action Plan for FY 2022-2023 will be submitted to HUD for review and approval on or after June 26, 2022.
