Salt Lake City is seeking public comment for proposed Substantial Amendments to the Salt Lake City 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2023-2024 Annual Action Plan to recognize and utilize program income generated by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Salt Lake City programs. These programs are the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) programs. Please see the formal transmittal detailing these amendments linked below.

Comments will be accepted from October 11th, 2023 through November 14th, 2023. Written comments may be submitted to the Housing Stability Division contact at Dillon.Hase@slcgov.com, or by phone at 801-535-6402.

Prior to making a final decision on the proposed substantial amendments, the Salt Lake City Council will also hold a public hearing, to accept additional public comment. The Public Hearing will use a hybrid meeting format, to allow people to join online through Webex or in-person at the City & County Building, located at 451 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111.  Once a public hearing date is set, details can be found on the Council’s public meetings webpage located at: https://www.slc.gov/council/agendas/.

All public comments will be reviewed and considered prior to final approval of the substantial amendments.
