Danielle Clark of Blackbox Studios, on behalf of the property owner, Wiltow Enterprises, is requesting Planned Development approval for eight townhome units on the properties at 2020 & 2030 S Main Street. The applicant is seeking Planned Development approval for the following:

  • Building without street frontage: Two buildings are proposed, and the rear building does not have frontage on a public street.
  • Additional height up to 5’.  The maximum height permitted by right is 30’ and the proposed height is 32’6”, which allows for 9’ ceilings on all floors.

The item is scheduled for the May 2, 2024, meeting at 7 p.m. at Salt Lake Community College, South City Campus, 1575 S. State Street, room Room 3-179.   • Notice has also been sent to property owners and residents within 300 feet of the project to obtain public input and comments on the proposal. Notified parties are given a 45-day period to respond before the Planning Commission will make a decision on the proposal.
  • During and following this comment period, the Planning Division will evaluate the proposal against the applicable standards, taking into consideration public comments as they relate to the standards, and develop a recommendation for the Planning Commission.
  • The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for additional public comments and make the final decision on the matter.
