Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for the 2025/2026 will begin on May 1, 2025 and end at midnight on May 16, 2025. Open Enrollment is the only time to enroll in or make changes related to your coverage for certain pre-tax benefits unless you experience a qualifying mid-year event.

Do The Following During Open Enrollment:

  • Determine if you want to enroll or re-enroll in any of the following tax advantaged accounts. Re-enrollment is required each year for those who choose to participate:
    • Medical Flexible Spending Account
      • Only for those not eligible for HSA
    • Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account
      • Must be participating in an HSA: dental, preventive and vision expenses only
    • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
  • Remember the annual maximum contribution limits:
    • Medical Flexible Spending Account: $3,300
    • Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account: $3,300
    • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account: $5,000
  • Review your HSA contribution. Changes can be made anytime during the year in your Workday Account.

Other Important Open Enrollment Notes:

  • All other PEHP insurance policies can be enrolled in or changed anytime during the year at www.pehp.org. Click here for instructions.
  • Long Term Disability through Aetna is only available during Open Enrollment and requires underwriting. You must contact the SLC Benefits Team at 801-535-6600 for your pre-populated application.
  • Employees with Adult Designee Status cannot use PEHP’s online system to enroll or make any changes to medical and/or dental. Paper forms are required and must be processed through the Benefits Team of Human Resources.
